Terms and Conditions:

Terms of Payment:

Commission payments can be made through bank transfer or PayPal. A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the commission, and must be discharged before work on the commission can begin. The balance of this payment is required before the dispatching of the product. The scheduled start date of your commission cannot be confirmed until the deposit payment is made
A maximum of 3 minor alterations can be made before the dispatch of the portrait. If the client is unhappy after these changes the balancing payment is not required, however the portrait will not be dispatched to the client.

All portraits are packaged with great care and gift-wrapped to make receiving of your portrait a much more enjoyable experience. Portraits are also packaged in protective materials to keep the portrait safe and dry whilst in transit.


All portrait commissions are posted via Royal Mail. Appropriate insurance will be obtained, the cost of which is included in the final invoice. The client will be updated as soon as the portrait has been dispatched. Once the portrait is out of the artists possession, the length of time the portrait takes to arrive is no longer the artist's responsibility.

All works are a one of a kind, authentic, original artworks by Beth Ford. All copyright and reproduction rights are reserved by the artist. The client does not have the right to resell or produce copies of the work for commercial use. The artist obtains the absolute right to work on a portrait on a live basis on all social media unless specific agreement is reached between the artist and commission for this not to occur.

If the portrait is commissioned as a gift, photos will not he shared until the recipient has received the portrait.

All rights of the reference photographs provided by the client for a custom portrait must be obtained by the photographer if the image is not the clients own.

Whilst working with the client, the artist will need, the clients  name, an email address , and the references photos needed for the portrait. This information will be used only for the purpose of invoices and postage.

 

Once the client has received their portraits and all payments have been discharged. All of this information will be deleted.

In the unlikely event of a portrait arriving damaged, the commissioner must notify the artist of the same within 24 hours with appropriate photographic evidence. Provided the portrait is returned to the artist, then two alternatives will be provided. Either a full refund or a new portrait which will be provided as soon as possible by the artist, but taking into account the artist's current existing workload.
